About Event

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest trade fair for books and magazines. The annual fair was founded in 1949 and is open to trade visitors. Only on the last two days of the fair access for the general public is allowed. Visitors can inform themselves completely about the latest appearances and publications and experience the most innovative trends. The Book Fair offers a wide range divided into various subject groups: Fiction and non-fiction, religion, youth and children's books, science and technology, art books, tourism, visual art and international publishers. This fair is the international platform for the book trade and through the many book readings and publications also a magnet for every book lover. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 5 days of the fair, from 11. October to 15. October 2017, about 7309 exhibitors from 102 countries and 286425 visitors from 137 countries on the Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt.
